The 2019 FineHome Source show also features a fun Plein Air Art Event & Auction. Local students will paint and showcase their artwork. They will be on site and create paintings inspired by their surroundings. At the end of the day, you will be able to purchase your favorite painting in a silent auction. Make sure you stick around for that if you discover a painting you like.
Plein Air (“in the open air”), refers to artists painting outdoors and capturing a scene, most often a landscape, in natural light.
