The only landscape architect in metro NYC who also has a degree in horticulture (B.S & M.L.A. Cornell University), Jessica Matteson brings a rigor and technical ability to the firm’s work of making landscapes of lasting value. Jessica founded MLA based on the belief that our landscapes shape our life experience. We believe that space has power – the power to communicate an idea, to heighten the senses, to bring us into the present moment, to be an ever-changing setting for the unfolding of life’s most important events. Our approach follows a strict, repeatable process to maximize creativity and minimize errors.
