Julia Whitney Barnes is a multidisciplinary artist whose work can be seen in many public and private locations. Her large-scale, commissioned murals are beloved by their communities. Her work has been featured in the New York Times, Chronogram, The Village Voice, and many others. Her domestic works can be found in beautiful homes throughout the Hudson Valley. Julia makes scale drawings and collaborates with each client to create a design that is both personal and dynamic within each location. The work is painted by hand using only the highest quality archival materials. The resulting creations can be executed on virtually any surface (including plaster, drywall, hardwood, engineered wood, plywood, pressure treated wood, brick, and concrete).
